Hey guys, I’m Rory Reid and this is the brand new
0:02
Lamborghini Urus Performante,
0:04
a car designed to raise the bar for Super SUVs.
0:08
Let me talk about the chassis first of all.
0:11
It’s 16 mm wider, 20 mm lower
0:14
and, this is a big one, 47 kg lighter than the standard Urus.
0:19
Let me show you.
0:22
It uses a Twin Turbo 4L V8.
0:25
This has been upgraded to now make 666 PS and 850 Nm of torque,
0:32
and that means 0 to 62 in 3.3 seconds.
0:35
This is interesting too.
0:37
It’s made entirely of carbon fiber, super light.
0:40
Plus we have the option of a carbon fiber roof,
0:43
carbon fiber front end, carbon fiber rear diffuser,
0:46
carbon fiber wheel arches, carbon fiber wing mirror.
0:48
This car actually has the most carbon on any Super SUV on the market.
0:54
You might not think that an SUV has amazing downforce,
0:57
but this car actually does.
0:58
It features an air curtain at the side
1:01
that feeds air into the front, around the wheels,
1:04
to create a nice, smooth air current and cool the brakes.
1:08
And, if you look around the back, it also has two spoilers,
1:11
one in carbon on the boot lid
1:13
and another inspired by the Aventador SVJ at a higher level,
1:17
plus these lovely little fins on the end.
1:19
That thing produces 38% more downforce. Can you believe it?
1:24
Another thing I wanna show you is the brand new exhaust system.
1:27
This is titanium and it saves 10.4 kg over the standard exhaust.
1:32
Plus it’s been designed to be louder in the mid range.
1:36
This thing will sound amazing.
1:38
Let’s talk about personalization now.
1:40
The Urus Performante is available in 60 colors
1:43
and that range is growing all the time.
1:45
This one is Arancio Xanto, or “orange” to you and me,
1:50
and the interior has been redesigned as well.
1:52
It’s predominantly black
1:53
in order to reduce the amount of distraction for the driver,
1:56
so they can focus on the road or the track,
1:59
but you can customize it to your taste.
2:01
For example, it’s finished in the dark package,
2:04
which means there’s black on the door handle, black on the Tamburo,
2:07
and it’s got matching orange stitching to compliment the exterior color.
2:13
And finally, the Urus Performante has a brand new driving mode
2:17
developed specifically for this car: Rally Mode.
2:19
And that means you can take it onto a gravel circuit, a dirt circuit,
2:23
and get it very, very sideways.
2:25
Yes, this car does drift.
2:27
Speaking of which, that’s exactly what I’m gonna do now.
2:30
Ciao!
